Content descriptions describe what is to be taught in each learning area, at each year level or band of years. Achievement standards describe the expected learning (subject-specific ‘understanding’ and ‘skills’) children should be able to demonstrate in each learning area.

Teachers working with the Australian Digital Technologies curriculum can use and adapt the Scope and Sequence (F–10) – Learning programs to support implementation → to create sequenced learning programs that are organised by year level and topic of interest.
Parents can find digital technologies activities to engage the family at home. Activities require minimal preparation and include all the knowledge needed to complete tasks.

Empowering Students
Through authentic student voice, students consider, discuss, and contribute to the creation of appropriate and relevant strategies to respond to bullying in their context.
The Information of Teachers (PDF, 349KB) provides an overview of the implementation of the Student voice engagement activity, as well as curriculum and theoretical links.
Lessons have been packaged into age-appropriate levels, however, can be edited to suit school settings and class needs.

Be kind online, encourages young people to block content, report it, and support each other if they see or experience cyberbullying.
It is important that young people know that they are not alone and help is always available.
Share these videos with your students and start a conversation to help identify, understand and respond to cyberbullying.
A free service called BillyGuard allows people to take action against bullies.
In order to stop bullying, they assist people of all ages who are being bullied, harassed, threatened or intimidated via technology (Internet or phones).
Using BillyGuard ensures that there are consequences for inappropriate behaviours because they address bullying at the source.
